1 . Quotations and estimates - Quotations and estimates given are valid for 28 days from the date they are given. However we may withdraw a quotation or estimate at any time before it is accepted by you. Where we have given you an estimate, we will do our best to provide the materials and service for the estimated amount. However the price payable by you may be more than the estimate but we undertake to increase the estimate by a reasonable amount to reflect the work done.
2 . The Work – The work to be performed ("The Work") is specified in our quotation or as referred to in our work authorisation/quotation. All descriptions, illustrations, web page content and advertisements are intended as a general idea of the work involved and are not intended to form part of a contract.
3 . Price – The price payable by you is the price stated on our invoice and is determined by us with reference to the parts and labour consumed in servicing your car and our pricing schedule.
4 . Payment - Invoices will be provided at the time of completion of work and payment should be made at this point. At our sole discretion we may offer 30 day credit terms. Where payment is not made within 30 days of the work being completed, you must pay us interest on the amount owed at a rate of 10% per annum to apply both prior to and after legal proceedings have been initiated.
5 . Inspection of work – The client shall inspect the work as far as is immediately possible on completion and shall within 7 days give written notice to us in detail of any grounds on which it is alleged that the work is not in accordance with the contract. Failure to give such notice the work shall conclusively be presumed to be free from defect.
6 . Guarantee – Due to the varying nature of car servicing work, guarantees are only provided on a case by case basis and where specifically requested in writing by the client. No guarantee will apply to our workmanship or goods and services supplied where faults are caused wholly or partly by your misuse or adjustment of the apparatus in question. The maximum guarantee we offer is 30 days. Should guarantee work be required, it is the clients responsibility to get the car to us and bear all costs relating from a breakdown.
7 . Breach - Neither we nor you shall be liable for any breach of our respective obligations under the agreement where either of us is unable to perform these obligations for reasons beyond our control.
8 . We shall not be liable and accept no responsibility for unavoidable damage caused or any unforseeable loss you may suffer as a result of the work carried out, nor shall we be liable for any loss of any nature which is not caused by our negligence or the breach of the terms of the contract between us.
9 . We shall have no liability where the damage, inconvenience or loss is arising from information that was supplied by you to us which was incomplete, incorrect, inaccurate, illegible or late or which arises from a breach by you of your obligations as set out in this agreement.
